CERGAM is an Institutional Member of the International Public Management Research Association
The research conducted within this area addresses major public institutions, whether local, national, or international. It focuses on non-profit organizations as well as private companies that have specific ties to the public sphere. The primary research fields also engage with key social sciences such as law, economics, and political science, as well as humanities disciplines like sociology, psychology, and even philosophy.
The concepts explored include performance, leadership, staff mobilization, compensation, territorial strategy, evaluation, change management, public marketing, and user-client management. These concepts are applied across various sectors, including culture, health, social services, local government, the environment, state institutions (such as universities, hospitals, and the prison system), and NGOs.
This research falls within the framework of international public management. It prioritizes the pressing questions facing our societies by placing the user-client at the center of the system, analyzing decision-making processes, and studying public actions. It also examines the role and position of actors within their respective territories.
